As he gears up his gubernatorial candidacy, Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum announced on Thursday the awarding of approximately $700,000 to multiple South Florida non-profit organizations that fund free foreclosure legal defense work.
The money is part of approximately $4 million that will be made available statewide over two years to fund attorneys and paralegals who are providing assistance to homeowners that are facing foreclosure.
