The Times of a Northwest Indiana is reporting that Action Now, a community organization in Chicago, staged a sit-in at a Cook County official’s office to demand foreclosure help for homeowners. The newspaper says that the organization wants county funding for foreclosure mediation and counseling. Unfortunately, many U.S. states have waited way too long to start helping homeowners.
